Hi,
I installed oracle express edition on ubuntu since 11g database wasn’t installing. RCU is failing with the error
2010-09-22 22:32:01.093 ERROR rcu: oracle.sysman.assistants.rcu.backend.task.ActualTask::run: RCU Operation Failed
oracle.sysman.assistants.common.task.TaskExecutionException: RCU-6083:Failed – Check prerequisites requirement for selected component:OIM
Please refer to RCU log at C:\Oracle\Middleware\rcuHome\rcu\log\logdir.2010-09-22_22-31\rcu.log for details.
Error: JVM is not installed on the Database.

Is there a fix for this ?

QUESTION: in below section 11 of this document, we cannot find the jps-atz-wls-proxyproviders.jar file in our successful WLS/IdAM install ??!!! Is below guidance valid ??

11.1 Integrating with WebLogic Server

As discussed in Section 1.3.2.2, “Security Module as Combination PDP / PEP,” WebLogic Server can automatically intercept authorization requests after enabling the Role Mapping and Authorization providers. The following procedure explains how to do this; it assumes the WebLogic Server is installed in the $WLS directory in the $DOMAIN domain. Replace the values from your installation when following the procedure.

Copy the jps-atz-wls-proxyproviders.jar to the WebLogic Server provider definition directory using the following command.

cp jps-atz-wls-proxyproviders.jar $WLS/server/lib/mbeantypes

Start the $DOMAIN domain using the following command.

$DOMAIN/startWeblogic.sh

Add the Authorization Proxy and Role Mapping providers to the realm that protects the domain.
